JRD Home & Garden has been trading in a prominent location in Ellon, Aberdeenshire for over 15 years. The business has seen substantial investment to improve the shopping experience in the last 18 months with more investment planned early in 2019. One of the most notable investments will be in the introduction of a sales showroom area, both internally and externally. This will showcase a range of products including Internal & External Doors, Furniture, Landscaping and many more products for the house and home.
We’re looking for a Showroom Sales Consultant who can help our customers achieve their dream home improvement project. Previous experience in Showroom sales (kitchen, bathroom, furniture etc) is desirable but isn’t essential as training will be provided to the right candidate.
We are looking for someone with drive and ambition to make this new initiative a major success while maintaining the exceptionally high levels of customer service we demand. Due to the nature of the business weekend and some evening working may be required in your 40 hours per week. This position commands an attractive salary, high commission potential, training and development opportunities and much more.
The main responsibilities of the role will be creating a welcoming environment in the showroom areas, helping the customer understand their needs and guiding them through the product range.

Manage the customer journey from concept enquiry to delivery
Main Responsibilities:

Listen and record customer requirements

Create a welcoming environment to help generate sales

Guide customers through the product range options and the accompanying products

Provide customers with multiple finance and payment options
-
Follow up customer enquiries to resolution
-
Liaise with suppliers to ensure fulfilment of orders

Progress leads generated by colleagues.
Previous experience would be advantageous in positions such as Account Manager, Kitchen Design Consultant, Kitchen Sales Designer, Sales Executive, Showroom Consultant, Showroom Manager, Bathroom Sales Consultant, Internal Sales.
